Create and submit an Incident via the web app
Guide: Reporting Incidents via the QR-Patrol Web App
Until now, Incidents could only be reported through the Mobile App (by guards/workers).
With the latest update, Managers/Users can now also create and send Incidents directly from the Web App, making incident handling faster and more flexible.
Where to Find the New Function
- Log in to the Web App.
- Go to the Events Browser tab.
- From the list of guards, select the Guard/Worker on whose behalf you want to report an Incident.
- Click the new Incident Report button
Creating an Incident Report
Once you click the Incident Report button:
- An Add Incident form will open (see screenshot).
- Fill in the following fields:
- Selected Guard: The guard/worker on whose behalf you are reporting.
- Incident Type: Choose the type of incident from the dropdown list. (required)
- Description: Enter a short description of the incident (up to 256 characters).
- Client / Site / Check Point: Optionally filter and select the related client, site, and checkpoint.
- Click Confirm to submit the report.
Viewing & Managing Incidents
- All submitted incidents appear normally in the Events Browser, along with other events.
- They are also available in the Issue Management tab, where you can:
- Review and manage the incident
- Open a related Work Order if needed
✅ This new feature gives managers more control and ensures that incidents can be reported and documented even without direct input from the mobile app.
