When multiple filters are created, they are connected with an implicit AND operator. The data that will be displayed in the table, chart, and crosstab will be what remains after all the filters are applied. This can change by applying custom filtering that includes more complex, nested AND, OR and NOT operators as well as by applying filters to a single field. To create and apply a custom filter:
- Create at least two filters for the data
- Go to the bottom of the Filters panel and expand the Custom Filter Expression
- In the text entry box, enter a filter expression using the letter designations and including the AND, OR, NOT and Parentheses to create your own custom filter.
- Click on the Apply option and you will see your report updated with the new filters.
